The underfloor heating is finished and covered with liquid concrete screed. This acts as thermal mass, and with the solid concrete below, releasing heat slowly over the day and night.
Underfloor heating pipes are laid in the kitchen space using a combination of spiral and serpentine patterns. They are clipped to rails and ready to take the liquid screed.
