Transforming a kitchen with modern fixings, bold colours and a new floor
A tired kitchen needed an update so I proposed moving the bulk of the kitchen to the other side of the room, enabling the basic services to be kept in similar places while moving the existing electric oven.
This allowed for a full kitchen makeover with new radiator, newly plastered feature wall, new bookshelf and panelled water tank, an aluminium splashback, under-cabinet lighting, integrated mini dishwasher, new sockets, solid worktop and laminate flooring.

In order to free up space to move the fridge into an alcove, I replaced a radiator with a sleek vertical, wall-mounted radiator and added 3 new sockets at floor level. Under-cabinet lighting, an aluminium hob splashback, a new ultra-thin 12mm solid plastic worktop material, a simple tiled surround and a new laminate floor complete the look.
